School-based Partial Hospitalization Programs

The Ridge Behavioral Health System is eliminating barriers to mental health treatment by providing youth partial hospitalization programs in schools within Fayette County, Scott County, Franklin County, and Wolfe County. We will soon open a program in Paris Independent Middle School.
Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization program first promotes stabilization and then focuses on enhancing thinking and behavioral skill sets. Strategies used include skill building groups, psycho-educational groups and family therapy. Partial Hospitalization Program:Monday-Friday, 4 hours per dayØ Average program length is approximately 2-4 weeksØ Weekly individual family sessions Ø Weekly Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner visitsØ Daily groups include education and psychotherapy

How to make a referral:Contact The Ridge Intake Department at 859-268-6400 for an assessment to determine level of care and eligibility. We currently are providing in-person assessments, phone assessments, as well as virtual assessments for your convenience.
